The producer Joe Mount, from Metronomy, has spoken about working with Girls Aloud band member Nicola Roberts on her upcoming solo album.

Mount explained: "We did two tracks together, one of them is a bit more electronic-sounding. She was really into Robyn and M.I.A. I was surprised but it's a good place for her to start."

His new LP, 'The English Riviera', is released this week.
