Now that Nicola Roberts has gone solo she doesn't have the safety net of her other four bandmates from Girls Aloud beside her on stage. 

The 'Beat Of My Drum' singer has revealed that it's daunting to take the stage alone and now gets really nervous before performing. Speaking to MTV, she explained:

"I'm nervous and I'm dreading the night before. I know I'm going to be like losing half a stone in weight overnight, so I'm going to have to get myself into the zone."
