Nicola Roberts has treated fans to a brand new song from her forthcoming debut solo album, 'Cinderella's Eyes'. 

The singer unveiled a track called 'Sticks + Stones' last night, September 14, and also uploaded an emotional lyric video to YouTube that accompanies the audio. When asked by a fan on Twitter about what inspired her to write the song, she simply replied "everyone who feels shit about themselves".

She added, "I plucked up the courage to read the comments on YouTube about Sticks + Stones... I'm so overwhelmed..Your stories are making me cry.. Im so glad I wrote this song, if for nothing else, the people who need it most have it.."

'Cinderella's Eyes' is due to be released on September 26 and you can check out 'Sticks + Stones' in full below:
