Newly hired X Factor USA judge Nicole Scherzinger has finished her first "amazing" day on the job.

News broke recently that Cheryl Cole had left her role as a panelist on the singing talent competition and that the former Pussycat Doll had since replaced her.

Things seem to going well for Scherzinger as she tweeted a message of appreciation for her new position:

"After finishing my vry 1st day on the new job, every1 has bn amazing! Thanku NJ 4 welcoming me. I'm truly grateful & excited 2 B judging X"
