In a new interview with Marie Claire magazine, superstar Nicole Scherzinger admitted that although she's dating a high profile man, Lewis Hamilton, she never wants her romance to become a public affair.

She explained that it's important her love life remains private and she would never dream of letting people in to the extent that other celebrity couples seem to do:

"I know there are a lot of relationships who, you know… Take Kanye and Kim – well, they're perfect for the cameras. Lewis and I are a bit more subdued."

"Lewis and I are a team and we're really there for each other, and the time we spend together I do cherish. It's separate from everything else."

The 'Poison' sensation added that she hopes to marry within the next few years as she's "not getting any younger" and revealed that despite her domestic dreams, she doesn't plan on having children just yet because she's too busy with her career:

"I don't want to have kids now, though. When I'm a mum, I'm not going to be one of those mums who has nannies. Actually, I might have nannies – never say never – but I'm not having someone else raise my kids. I think five years might be a good time to look at having children, but I think whenever it's meant to happen is when it will happen. Right now, I'm focusing on my career."
