Nicole Scherzinger wants Sharon Osbourne back on the X Factor

Nicole Scherzinger has lent her support to Sharon Osbourne amid speculation that she could return to the X Factor.

The music manager and media personality left the TV talent show in 2008 after proving to be a popular judge.

This year's X Factor line-up has yet to be decided, but it has been strongly rumoured that Tulisa will be axed from the panel.

Speaking to The Sun, Scherzinger said that Osbourne would be an ideal candidate to fill up a judges' seat should anyone leave. She said:

"Sharon Osbourne actually is the first person who introduced me to X Factor and brought me on as a guest judge. So I'm Team Sharon all the way. I absolutely adore her and love her and she's a righteous mama."

Commenting about Tulisa, the 'Boomerang' star added: "I have a great working relationship and a great friendship with her so I'm sure she’ll choose what's best for her."

As previously reported, Scherzinger recently admitted that she isn't sure if she will return to the X Factor this year.
