Nicole Scherzinger has claimed that Jack Black would make a great X Factor judge.

The 'Boomerang' singer is one of four judges on the UK version of the TV talent show, but its 2013 line-up has yet to be confirmed.

Tulisa Contostavlos is heavily rumoured to be heading for the axe, whilst Scherzinger herself has openly admitted that she isn't sure if she will return.

Speaking to The Sun, however, she revealed that she thinks School of Rock actor and Tenacious D frontman Jack Black would make a good X Factor judge. She said:

"A dream judge? I'd love to be back with the same ones but I think Jack Black would be great. He's off the wall but knows his music."

Scherzinger added: "I don't know what’s going on with Tulisa, that's her business. I had a great relationship with her. She did a brilliant job."
