Nicole Scherzinger has teamed up with Tom Odell for a collaboration.

The US star updated her Twitter account with a photo of herself and Odell, confirming that they were in a recording studio together.

She said: "#Captain&theCowbell Creating in the studio with @tompeterodell #Latergram #London."

Scherzinger then retweeted some of her fans' reactions, with one user tweeting: "Wow, thats some collaboration. Tell us more. His genius, your voice..."

Another fan meanwhile simply proclaimed: "OMG NICOLE AND TOM WORKING TOGETHER OMG OMG OMG."

It appears that the duet could feature on Scherzinger's forthcoming second debut album.
