No Doubt set to collaborate with Major Lazer on forthcoming album

No Doubt have announced that they’ve teamed up with production team Major Lazer on their highly anticipated forthcoming album.

The band updated their official Twitter page today, July 21, and explained that they are still hard at work on what will be their first LP for over a decade, but have now recruited the talents of Diplo and Switch.

Major Lazer recently collaborated with Beyoncé on her hit, ‘Run the World (Girls)’, and with Nicola Roberts on her debut solo single, ‘Beat of My Drum’.

The band have been working on the album since 2008, but went on hiatus after lead singer Gwen Stefani became pregnant. They’ve spent the majority of 2011 recording in Santa Monica and recently confirmed the titles of two new tracks as ‘One More Summer’ and ‘Settle Down’.
