Noel Gallagher claims he’d still be a roadie if career hadn’t worked out

Noel Gallagher has claimed that he would still be a roadie if his music career hadn’t worked out.

The 45-year-old, who started out on the road with the Inspiral Carpets in the late 80s, told The Sun that he’d probably be in the same job now if Oasis hadn’t taken off:

"I would have been out there now, probably in an ill-fitting black T-shirt with a tattoo and some scruffy Converse trainers. Because that is what they all wear."

The ‘If I Had A Gun’ singer, who last week revealed he made Beady Eye ask permission to perform 'Wonderwall' at the London 2012 closing ceremony, then added:

"But I was maybe the best-dressed roadie in the history of music. I used to wear white jeans and never got them dirty. I was too quick for the dirt."
