Olly Murs has thrown his weight behind Rita Ora for a judging role on the next X Factor series.

The singer will host the 2015 show alongside Caroline Flack.

Speaking to the Mirror at the weekend, the Brit said that he thinks Ora would be an ideal candidate for the panel because of her experience.

Murs said: "I'll be honest. I think Rita would be a good one because she's done The Voice."

The singer then also appeared to confirm rumours that BBC Radio 1's Nick Grimshaw will be a judge on the programme, adding:

"[Ora]'s got a great personality, she's fun and I think her and Grimmy get on well."
