Olly Murs: 'Even if people hate this record, I will still like it'

Hitmaker Olly Murs has revealed that his new songs are more substantial than his previous singles such as 'Wrapped Up' and 'Troublemaker'.

The heartthrob sat down for a chat with Total Access and opened up about his forthcoming new record, explaining that he is really excited to release 'more meaningful' music:

“Wrapped Up and Troublemaker were great songs but for me, but they were generic pop records. They were feel-good, dancing, having a good time. This one has a message in it. It had me in it, proper me. All these songs mean more to me than all the other songs I’ve ever done."

“Even though the other songs had me, the cheeky fun guy, You Don't Know Love is really from the heart and it means a lot to me. I think it is a banger. The reaction’s been fantastic but even if everyone hates it I’m still going to like it.”

He went onto add that he has some collaborations in mind, but neither of them will be with other male artists: "The two features that I want are going to be female, no male."
