Olly Murs has kicked off his UK headlining tour after performing to a packed crowd in Cardiff, Wales last night (February 1). 

The 'Dance With Me Tonight' star will travel all over the country in support of his latest album, 'In Case You Didn't Know', and is due to finish the current run of dates on February 29 in Dublin.

He took to social networking site Twitter in the early hours of this morning to thank fans for a great opening night:

"CARDIFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF!!! Thanks for a top opening night of my tour!! #pucka crowd!! Really hope you enjoyed it..... I was buzzing of it!!"

Earlier this week, Murs admitted that he's been putting extra effort into preparing for the tour and hired a personal trainer to get him into shape for the shows.
