Olly Murs says supporting One Direction on US tour will be "nuts"

Olly Murs has expressed his delight at landing a support slot on One Direction's upcoming US tour.

The One Direction lads are heading out once more to North America to play a number of headline shows, and Murs was signed up to open some of them.

Speaking to ITV's Daybreak this morning (May 22), Murs said that the tour will be "nuts" and that he has already spent a couple of weeks there writing music. He said:

"I think I'm flying out on Monday morning, flying off to Canada to start the tour, it's going to be nuts. I've been over there the last couple of weeks. I've doing some writing sessions and getting involved in it but you know, I've always said before, going to America is great and it's a great chance for me, but there's no pressure in it, it's going to be good."

"The single is released on the 29th over there, which is quite close. But it works differently over there, it all works on airplay and it's driving it. But, I mean, it's going to be great to be on the tour with the [One Direction] boys as well."
