Olly Murs to release new single soon

Olly Murs has revealed that he will be unleashing his new single in three or four weeks.

The former X Factor contestant has been busy working on the follow-up to his 2011 effort 'In Case You Didn't Know' and he has confirmed that the album's first single will surface soon.

He told Capital FM that it will be a month maximum for the track to appear to the public. When asked when fans could hear his new single, he replied:

"Very soon. Probably about three or four weeks away from people hearing my first single from my new album."

He continued: "I'm very excited about it. It's a really cool new direction, but in a good way. It's a really good pop record – I'm excited about it so fingers crossed people like it."

Murs meanwhile played the iTunes Festival in London last night (September 3), where he managed to pull off 41 press-ups - one more than Usher managed at the festival two days prior.

He tweeted after the gig: "Big thanks to everyone that came to #itunesFest2012 tonight can't believe I managed to do 41 press ups. My arms are killing me #whataplonker."
