Olly Murs has revealed that Caroline Flack's mother is pining for them to start a relationship.

The pair work together on the Xtra Factor and seem to enjoy a good bond.

Speaking to Capital FM, Murs revealed that when he met Flack's mother, she said to him that he should try and bag her daughter as his girlfriend.

However, it seems that isn't going to happen, with the 'Oh My Goodness' singer happy to stay just friends. Speaking about getting together with Flack, he said:

"Well I met [Caroline's] mum at The X Factor and she was saying that to me. She came down, her mum, and she was like, 'I want you and Caroline to get together'. I was like, 'I don't think that's going to happen!'."

Murs continued: "We're just really good mates, we get on so well. She's a BFF as they say, best friend for life. So, we'll be friends for a long time."
