Olly Murs distances new book from autobiography label

Olly Murs has stated that his new book isn't an autobiography of his life.

The singer has just unleashed the book Happy Days and he appeared on BBC Breakfast to promote its release.

He confirmed, however, that it isn't a look back at his whole life - instead, it will focus on how he found fame on the X Factor in 2010 and his experiences since leaving the TV talent show. Murs said:

"It's interesting to write a book, I've been asked to do one for three years. With the success I've had, it has been nice to explain it in my own words. It's not really an autobiography, it's the last five years. The first few were a bit boring!"

The singer continued: "It's about how The X Factor has changed my life."

The 'Oh My Goodness' star is set to release his third studio album 'Right Time, Right Place' on November 26.
