Olly Murs has proclaimed that David Beckham and George Clooney would be his ideal men.

The singer has been somewhat unlucky in love over the past few years, with the 'Oh My Goodness' man unable to secure a long-term girlfriend.

However, the Daily Star quotes Murs as saying that if he was gay, he would be interested in the LA Galaxy footballer and A-list actor. The Xtra Factor man said:

"My ideal man, if I were gay, would be David Beckham or George Clooney. Both are successful, good looking and talented."

He continued: "I have never kissed a bloke. Not seriously anyway."

Murs meanwhile confirmed that he's still "single" despite having a few dates with the same lady. He added:

"I went on a couple of dates with a girl. That went really well. But I'm still single. It's just that time of year when I'm so busy with work."
