Olly Murs tops both UK albums and singles charts

British singer Olly Murs has scored the UK's No.1 single and album after securing both top spots during the midweek chart update.

The cheeky hitmaker shot in at No.1 with his third studio album 'Right Place Right Time' on Wednesday (November 28) and also remains at No.1 on the singles chart with 'Troublemaker'.

The catchy tune faced competition from Bruno Mars' 'Locked Out Of Heaven', which has shot up 7 places to No.2.

Elsewhere in the singles chart, Rihanna's 'Diamonds' has climbed seven places to No.3 after the stunning singer performing on The X Factor last week, while Labrinth is a non-mover at No. 4 with 'Beneath Your Beautiful'.

Former No. 1 hit 'Candy' from British singer Robbie Williams is up one place to No. 7.

PSY'S catchy dance hit 'Gangnam Style' is down two places to No. 8 after 15 weeks in the chart, while One Direction's ballad 'Little Things' has dropped six places to No. 3.

Last week's No. 2 'Something New' from the newly-reformed Girls Aloud is down 12 spots to No. 14, while former X Factor winners Little Mix's 'DNA' has dropped four places to No. 16 after three weeks in the charts.
