Olly Murs on Robbie Williams friendship: 'We talk about girls we've slept with and life in general'

Cheeky singer Olly Murs has opened up about the bond he has forged with hitmaker Robbie Williams and revealed that they've grown very close while on the road together.

Speaking to Britain's Daily Mail, the 'Troublemaker' star confessed that travelling around the UK with Williams on his 'Take The Crown' run of dates has been great because he's like one of his friends "back home in Essex":

"I enjoy his company, we have a laugh and I think he enjoys having me around. I don't feel like I'm talking to one of the biggest stars in the UK, he is like one of my mates back home in Essex. We trust each other and what we say to each other we know won't go anywhere else. We talk about everything - work, football, what happened in the news today, random girls."

Murs continued: "We talk about the girls we might have slept with or girls we've met along the way and Robbie tells me about his heyday and what he used to get up to. Just lad talk really. He says he sees a lot of himself in me which is an amazing thing for him to say. If I could have the same career as he's had over the past 20 years I would be delighted."
