Olly Murs has discussed his revealing and odd Halloween costume this year.

The singer was pictured alongside One Direction's Harry Styles in Japan as he celebrated Halloween with the British-Irish pop group, who he supported in the country.

Whilst the 'Kiss You' singer was half-naked and dressed as Miley Cyrus, Murs' costume wasn't quite so clear.

Speaking on Smallzy's Australian radio show, the former Xtra Factor host revealed that he was acting as a ballerina. He said:

"This was for the 1D tour. It's private for them, but they did a party and we all went as fancy dress. I am a ballerina - the Swan. They called me the Swan."

Murs added: "It was 50 per cent swan, 50 per cent human swan."

As previously reported, Miley Cyrus recently revealed that she thought Harry Styles' costume was the best Halloween effort inspired by her.

Other celebrities who dressed up as the singer included Paris Hilton and Joan Rivers.
