1. Tell us about yourself and your music?

Its D.$cholar, I'm from Deroit,MI. I'm a HipHop/Rap artist. My parents Had me young mom 17 and pops 19. i grew up on Joy Road and later on i moved to 7mile- Just so we are clear Joy road and 7mile are 2 of the most gritty hoods in Detroit, i mean its crazy man i started writing poetry when i was 11 about my surroundings, but mostly girls. I started rapping around 12-13 forreal forreal though.


2. How would you describe your sound?

Thats a funny question...uhh well my Top HipHop artist off top are Nas, Tupac, and Eminem of course. Right now in 2016 id go with j.cole and wale to name a few. if you add Detroit to all of those influences with a little Young jeezy... Demonee Scholar all day baby


3. Talk about the experience making your single?

Now 'Models' came about a whole year before the actual beat was made. i was at my grandma house at the time with my homeboy Curtis and i was looking through Instagram. I came across this post by DJClay and it said something along the lines like 'Yo just made a new beat its on my soundcloud check it out download it and spit your bars on Instagram and ill repost it". i thought nothing of it really but i showed Curtis he made me do it...i came up with bars i posted as a freestyle but it was hot and i posted anyway DJClay reposted it and it got some real love. A couple days later my Team heard it and my Producer Bernardo was like "Aye thats a hit bro ima make a new beat and we are gonna do a whole track" i was down of course and i recruited RastaRilla for a verse and Nes...the rest is history. Gang all day.


4. What are you currently working on? Any new projects? Shows?

Im trying to give y'all to much haha but um man I'm working everyday. Im getting ready to drop an entire tape with SupaMarioBeatz and thats gonna set the streets on fire. I'm also working on entire tape produce by KEonTheTrack so look out for those real soon...Leading up to my official movement release "Amadeus" Produced by my Producer Bernardo.


5. What has been your biggest highlight in your music career this far?

Meeting new people man rather its big name artist or producers new fans too. i love the connection music brings I'm always in that highlight if you ask me i love every second from the writing all the way to performing. its all one big highlight for me. I'm sure ill have a monumental one eventually though. its just how i am haha.


6. Name your ideal collaboration: mainstream or independent artist(s)?

J.cole all day Eminem all day...mainstream i bet me and Drizzy would make some fire haha. shout out to them OVO boys.


7. Name something random that people do not know about you?

Im allergic to pineapples my mom forgets all the time... so many close encounters you wouldn't believe. But yes deathly allergic to pineapples


8. What’s one thing you have learned or discovered while being in the indie music scene/industry?

Copyright your music... know the actual business of music if thats the field you wanna pursue. Hard work pays off but Patience and timing are just as important. Establish your own foundation 1st.


9. What can we expect from you in the future?

New videos for the upcoming tapes. A couple artist we all know i have features with...wont give names away though just gotta wait and see. all i can say is that by christmas time i will have a lot of presence...haha
