Tell us about yourself and your music?

I go by the name RBC Bugzy aka Bugzo I'm out of Richmond Ca. I have been doing music serious for about 5 years now got a lot of music out now and a lot more on the way take some time check me out everywhere on all platforms just search my name and subscribe to my website that will keep you updated on everything me at RBCBUGZY.COM.

How would you describe your sound?

I would describe my sound as a very beautiful experience. I feel like I am very descriptive and paint pictures well for the listeners. I also love the new melodies I have been doing especially on this project and to me it's like a project and sound where you can just sit in your car or at home and listen and vibe out or turn up which ever you prefer.

Talk about the experience making your single?

My favorite part of this project was that we didn't go into trying to make a single ya know. The music was just created and whatever came out came out but stemming from that after letting friends and family listen to the project Gucci and Roof kind if became the singles more so Gucci and we have the video coming soon for that. The record came about because I just kept telling my producer I want all the production to be hard feel me like I want people to feel the beat more than anything as soon as it comes on. Then the actual music as far as the verses and hooks just came off me popping shit ya know just some light flex haha.

What are you currently working on? Any new projects? Shows?

Currently I'm working on a lot honestly it's so much going on we are trying to accomplish. I am currently working and trying to push out two more projects by years end, we are working on our clothing line which has been very successful just revamping that to a higher level. This Saturday we our having our 4th annual Pumpkin Give Away we do with our Group Home family family, November 11th I'll be performing live in Houston Tx along side Moneybagg Yo, and December 22nd I'll be performing live along with my RubberBand Clan label and family Rich City Stu and RBC Dobe at our 2nd annual RBC night, so yeah staying busy rite now trying to go into the new year with a bang.

What has been your biggest highlight in your music career this far?

Uh honestly I'm not sure I feel like the best is ahead of me, but if I had to say one I would say the release of my Views From The Rich album I released the love and the feedback I received on that project was un believable. Coming from where we come from it is very rare to have everybody listen to one person and when I was getting comments and love from people I thought I never would in my city it was amazing to me and became my biggest accomplishment.

Name your ideal collaboration: mainstream or independent artist(s)?

The list is so long honestly but as of right now to name one I would have to say Future. his run the last 2 to 3 years and all the music he has released and finding the balance between the streets and keeping mainstream fans happy has been amazing to me that he found and kept that balance.

Name something random that people do not know about you?

That I actually used to sing before I even started rapping but that road ended early for me lol.

What’s one thing you have learned or discovered while being in the indie music scene/industry?

I have learned that it's a lot a lot of hard work and nobody I repeat nobody can do it by they self I mean that. It's a grind your going to have to really prepare yourself for mentally and financially. I can't express enough how many days I felt like quitting this or feeling like I was wasting my money or more importantly time, but I'm a real believer in the person who quits was just moments away from a big break.

What can we expect from you in the future?

More music, more music, more music. Of course some new business adventures I have been working, and most importantly I want to shift my focus on other artist and putting out some young talent especially from around my city and area. I felt like I learned a lot in this game and if it doesnt take me where I where I want to go I would love to use my knowledge to help somebody else.
