Tell us about yourself and your music?
I'm a hip-hop artist based in queens New York. I've been making music for many years. I had an unfortunate turn of events that really awakened me. I decided to really pursue my goals this year and make music my number one priority. I make music based on how I'm feeling at the moment and also from my experiences in life.

How would you describe your sound?
I believe my sound is diverse, sonically ranging from trap to traditional hip-hop. One thing i try to promote in my music is being truthful with yourself, not doing things or saying things because its hot at the moment.

Talk about the experience making your single?
It was a fun process. I wasn't sure which song one would be my lead single. I wanted to challenge myself and do something different. Prior to this song, I was accustomed to slower paced beats. I never rapped in Spanish either. The beat definitely caught my attention therefore my team and I decided this would be our first song to release.

What are you currently working on? Any new projects? Shows?
I have a video shoot coming up for my next single called "No Birthdays". I'm working on some new material as well, it should be ready to release by mid April. I also have an upcoming show in Brooklyn at The Paper Box, I'm very excited about it.

What has been your biggest highlight in your music career this far?
Being able to sell out all my tickets for my first show at a legendary Venue like SOB's was a big accomplishment. To see friends and relatives come out and be supportive was an amazing thing. I'm grateful for everyone that showed up.

Name your ideal collaboration: mainstream or independent artist(s)?
I'm Colombian so a collaboration with J.Blavin would be huge. Im proud what he has been able to accomplish for my country. I'm also a big fan of kendrick Lamar, he consistently puts out high quality material. Working with any of these artists would be great.

Name something random that people do not know about you?
I use to play the trumpet in elementary school. Growing up I had an afro, my mom didn't believe in getting me haircuts on a regular basis.

What’s one thing you have learned or discovered while being in the indie music scene/industry?
Nothing is for certain in this business. If your doing music be prepared to put in the time, work, and the money. I make music because I love it. I'm not thinking about anything else. There is a possibility as a musician that you might never be famous, but it doesn't mean you can't be successful.

What can we expect from you in the future?
I expect to drop a few music videos this year. I'm also working on new music for an album. I will continue to work on these projects to bring all these plans to fruition.
