Tell us about yourself and your music?
I’m DaisyJimes, an LA based Artist from Pomona. I just dropped a project, HARD CANDY Vol. 1. It’s my favorite body of work so far with a possible sequel.

How would you describe your sound?
I’d say my latest Project Hard Candy Vol. 1 is dance/indie pop for the most part with a bit of ambiguity. I had a lot of fun with the creative process.

Talk about the experience of making your single?
It’s kind of funny, I didn’t realize it at the time it’d be one of my favorite songs until I heard it out loud. I just knew I had to make a vibe of it.

What are you currently working on? Any new projects? Shows?
Definitely more music and collabs. I’m interested in designing merch and organizing shows.

What has been your biggest highlight in your music career thus far?
My latest single Hard Candy. The reaction has been positive. It’s a good feeling.

Name your ideal collaboration: mainstream or independent artist(s)?
Doja Cat. I admire her versatility. I imagine making a visual with her would be interesting too.

Name something random that people do not know about you?
I’m a fan of metal/ hard rock and I love a show with a good mosh pit.

What’s one thing you have learned or discovered while being in the indie music scene/industry?
There are a lot of talented artists. I’m a fan of a lot of independent musicians around me. What makes you successful is being your best creative self and a good work ethic of course.

What can we expect from you in the future?
Expect more music and hopefully shows, merch. Maybe even films.
