Ozzy Osbourne on rehab: 'It's not unlike prison'

Veteran rocker Ozzy Osbourne has revealed that going through rehabilitation isn't unlike serving a prison sentence.

He spent a total of six weeks in prison in 1966 for robberies he had committed and then spent some time in rehab last year after relapsing with alcohol and drugs, but is now on the road to recovery.

Speaking to Q magazine, the icon admitted that they're both similar experiences although jail would definitely be the worse of the two:

"They both have a similar vibe but you're not frightened to bend over in rehab. I would say that prison is the worst; I didn't want to go back and I never did. I was terrified of being locked away."

Last year, his wife Sharon spoke out about how devastating his relapse was, telling The Talk: "I am devastated right now. It's a disease that not only hurts the person who has the disease, but it hurts the family. It hurts people who love you."
