Paolo Nutini postpones two more UK shows

Paolo Nutini has pulled his next two gigs after failing to recover from an illness.

The singer recently postponed two shows at Glasgow's Hydro arena due to severe tonsillitis.

It has now been deemed that the Scot isn't well enough to perform at London's O2 Arena on Thursday (October 30) or in Cardiff on Friday (October 31).

A statement posted online today (October 29) reads: "Following the decision to postpone the shows in Glasgow this week, and further to medical advice, we regret to advise that Paolo Nutini must also postpone his shows at London’s O2 Arena tomorrow (Thurs 30th Oct) and Cardiff’s Motorpoint Arena on Friday 31st Oct.

"Regrettably Paolo Nutini is suffering with severe tonsillitis and is not well enough to perform. We will provide details for the rescheduled shows tomorrow. We wish to apologise to all ticket holders for any inconvenience and disappointment this has caused."

Nutini's next planned show is now a date at Belfast's Odyssey Arena on Sunday (November 2).
