Paramore announce U.S. headlining tour

Rockers Paramore have confirmed that they will head out on a U.S. tour later this year in support of their upcoming new self-titled album.

The group will perform a series of live shows across America in April and May, and Paramore fan club members can get their hands on special pre-sale tickets on January 28 at 5pm EST. General sale begins on February 1.

Tweeting about the news earlier today (January 28), frontwoman Hayley Williams explained that these aren't the only dates to come and they won't disappoint their fans by limiting their tour to the USA: "Guys, this quick run around the US is just the 1st of sooo many tours for our new album! Don't get yer panties all bunched up for nothin'."

Paramore's tour dates are as follows:

April 25 - Houston, TX (Bayou Music Center)
April 29 - Phoenix, AZ (Comerica Theatre)
May 1 - Los Angeles, CA (Wiltern Theatre)
May 3 - Las Vegas, NV (The Joint)
May 4 - San Francisco, CA (Warfield Theatre)
May 6 - Salt Lake City, UT (The Great Salt Air)
May 7 - Denver, CO (The Fillmore Auditorium)
May 9 - Chicago, IL (Chicago Theatre)
May 10 - Detroit, MI (The Fillmore Detroit)
May 13 - Toronto, ON (Sound Academy)
May 15 - Boston, MA (House of Blues Boston)
May 16 - New York, NY (Hammerstein Ballroom)
