Paramore say 'Now' video was inspired by British street artist Banksy

Rockers Paramore recently unveiled their visually stunning music video for new single, 'Now', and they explained that Banksy served as a big inspiration for it.

Frontwoman Hayley Williams spoke to Billboard at this week's SXSW festival in Texas about the offering and explained that seeing one of Banksy's pieces spoke to the band so much that they decided to create the imagery around it:

"There's this Banksy image of a man throwing a bouquet instead of a Molotov (pictured below) and we were just like, 'That totally fits the song so much'. The song feels like it has a bit of violence to it but it's not about that at all, it's about embracing something different and looking forward to something you can't see yet."

She added: "When people watch the video I think it comes across clearly that love always wins in the end and that it's always better to stop the cycle of bitterness and anger and try something different."
