Pearl Jam joined by Red Hot Chili Peppers and Kings of Leon stars on stage

Pearl Jam performed a Neil Young cover with members of Red Hot Chili Peppers and Kings of Leon at the weekend.

The band were headlining the Saturday night (April 23) of the New Orleans Jazz Festival when the all-star collaboration occurred.

Red Hot Chili Peppers' Chad Smith performed drums, while his bandmate Josh Klinghoffer also appeared.

Kings of Leon drummer Nathan Followill provided some vocals and tambourine.

The band ran through Neil Young's 'Rockin’ in the Free World'.

As previously reported, Pearl Jam recently became the latest act to cancel a show in North Carolina over a new anti-LGBT law in the state passed in the state.
