Peter Andre undergoing "intense" therapy to avoid surgery on throat

Peter Andre is undergoing "intense" vocal therapy to avoid having to go under the knife for the lesion found in his throat earlier this year.

The talented singer and presenter explained to Digital Spy that he is incredibly reluctant to have an operation on his vocal chords because it could throw his music career into jepoardy so is spending "four or five" days per week in therapy for the condition:

"I'm doing therapy. I'm doing it about four or five times a week at the moment. So I reckon within a few months I should be [OK], hopefully. I won't have to have the operation if I keep doing this therapy. It's intense, but I've got to do it."

"If you have an operation, there are risks. If you don't, there's none. You know, singing is my passion."
