Peter Andre feels pressure to make sure "everything works out right" with his girlfriend as his children are so "attached" to her.

The Australian singer is currently dating medical student Emily MacDonagh and says his kids - Junior, seven and five-year-old Princess from his previous marriage to glamour model Katie Price - have wholeheartedly embraced his new girlfriend.

Speaking to British magazine new!, Andre explained: "Oh my God, Junior still thinks Emily is his girlfriend and Princess thinks Emily is her best buddy. They're very attached to her, which makes it harder for me, because I want to make sure everything works out right with Emily because I know how close my kids are to her.

He added: "I want to make sure we do everything correctly. She's a big part of their lives. They love her."

Andre previously revealed he'd like to walk down the aisle again and add to his brood, explaining: " A dream of mine would be to get married and have more children and I'll do my best to do it correctly. 'I don't know [how many] but I know I'll have them! I'm a very young 40 year old. I'm a spring chick! I don't want to feel my age.''

The star has explained why he'd love to extend his family.

He revealed: "There's a part of me that thinks if I was single, I'd be happy not to have to do [sleepless nights and nappy changes] again. But there's a part of me that thinks there's something so special about getting married and having kids, and you never know what's going to happen!"
