As reported by Pressparty yesterday (October 5), Pink has confirmed that her next music video will celebrate a gay wedding.

The ‘Just Like A Pill’ singer is due to release her new track ‘Raise Your Glass’ from her forthcoming greatest hits album, and described the music video as a ‘celebration’ and ‘psychotic’.

Speaking to In: Demand about the video, the ‘Trouble’ singer said: ‘I will be celebrating a gay wedding, but I’m not the minister.’

Asked about her inspiration for the video, she said: ‘I threw my best friend’s wedding in my back yard, who is gay and she married her wife, and it was absolutely beautiful.’

‘At the end of if, her mum said, “Why can’t this be legal?” and started crying. It was just the most heartbreaking thing I’ve ever seen, so that’s why I’m doing it in the video.’

Pink’s new album, ‘Greatest Hits… So Far’, is released on November 15.
