Global superstar P!nk receives star on Hollywood Walk of Fame

Superstar P!nk received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame yesterday (February 5).

The global music star was joined by her close friend and talk show queen, Ellen DeGeneres.

P!nk, whose real name is Alecia Moore, was honored at the ceremony in front of the Hollywood & Highland complex on Hollywood Boulevard.

There is less than a week to go now before the Grammys, where she is nominated for best pop vocal album for her outstanding 2017 record, Beautiful Trauma.

The singer-songwriter, who has released 15 albums, sold over 50 million records and more than 75 singles, has confirmed that her follow-up LP, Hurts to Be Human, will be released in April.

P!nk's new single, Walk Me Home, is scheduled to be out soon.

The music star recently told DeGeneres: "I think I'm just a hot mess and people appreciate that. But I look like... I go on tour and I look at the audience, and I can see every age. There's no real demographic.

"It's very surprising. It's three generations. And that's what I love about music. That's... it's the only sort of universal language that we all speak.

"I love that part. It's wonderful."

P!nk wrote and performed Today's the Day, which has been used as the theme song for The Ellen DeGeneres Show since 2015.
