Carey Hart has opened up about his confidence in the maternal instincts of his pop star wife P!nk, saying that she will be an “awesome” mom.

P!nk and motocross racer husband Hart are preparing for the impending arrival of their first child, but there seems to be little stress on the mind of the baby-daddy. Speaking to People Magazine, Hart said with confidence that P!nk – real name Alecia Moore – "is going to be awesome.”

He added: "She's just so connected and so ready to be a mother."

Also, when it comes to being a parenting team, Hart says the couple are planning to be very active in their child’s development.

“Our kid is going to have a great experience," Hart said. "He or she is going to travel the world with us … [and] I think we'll have a pretty well-rounded kid."
