A representative for P!nk has confirmed that she has had her gallbladder removed and is "recovering nicely".

The singer had been hospitalised recently, tweeting from her bed as doctors attempted to figure out what was wrong.

She had to celebrate her daughter's first birthday in hospital and was also forced into cancelling a performance at a Barack Obama fundraiser.

However, P!nk's rep told E! that she is now out of hospital and is on the road to recovery. They said:

"Pink had her gallbladder removed and is out of the hospital recovering nicely."
