Superstar Pink has revealed her thoughts on two of this year's biggest phenomena, One Direction and 50 Shades Of Grey.

The US singer, who releases her sixth studio album, ‘The Truth About Love,’ in September, opened up about a particular member of the ‘One Thing’ boyband in an interview with The Sun:

“It’s funny following the One Direction phenomenon and what’s happening with Harry Styles.

“Apparently he ‘loves’ a cougar — who turns out to be a woman aged 32.

“I just about qualify. I mean, I still feel a bit like a 17-year-old boy myself. I don’t know if I’ll ever feel any different.”

The ‘So What’ hit-maker, who gave birth to her first child, daughter Willow, with motocross rider Carey Hart last year, also went on to offer her opinion on the hugely popular erotic novel, 50 Shades Of Grey:

“I read it last week. I love reading and had to know what was turning all these housewives into sex maniacs.

“It was fine. I don’t want to diss the writer — it was wonderful — but I felt the writing was a bit juvenile.

“It felt a bit like reading a trashy sex novel in high school. It was like, ‘Oh my God. His tongue’s down there — holy f***.’ I thought, ‘Could you have used a bigger word?’”
