P!nk: 'I'll be a lot stronger for my daughter than my own mother was for me'

'Blow Me (One Last Kiss)' hitmaker P!nk has admitted that while she won't be able to control her daughter's decisions as she heads into her teens, she wants to help her 'navigate the world safely'.

The pop-rocker gave birth to daughter Willow last year and told Britain's The New Review that she hopes she won't follow the same self-destructive path she went down as a youngster, but can only provide her with solid guidance as a parent.

When asked if she would tolerate Willow experimenting with drugs, P!nk said: "No. But you know what I'm not gonna do? I'm not gonna teach my child to be a liar by telling her no, she can't do or be who she wants to be."

"I'm gonna try figure out a way with (husband) Carey (Hart) to safely allow her to navigate the world. No, she (is) never gonna f**king touch heroin. I'm gonna make sure of it. And if she wants to f**king hate me for it, that's fine."

"She won't have my teenage life because I've already been there. I'm prepared to be a lot stronger than my mom was. That's all. I'm never gonna know everything, but I know a lot."
