P!nk is scheduled to perform at the American Music Awards next month alongside a host of other big-name stars.

Country music songstress Carrie Underwood and 'Give Me Everything' star Pitbull have also been added to the American Music Awards line-up.

All three stars join previously announced acts including Taylor Swift, Christina Aguilera, Nicki Minaj and Linkin Park.

Country musicians Jason Aldean, Lady Antebellum, Faith Hill will also perform at the much-anticipated event, with more performers to be announced at a later date.

Rihanna and Nicki Minaj lead the award ceremony's 40th anniversary nominations with four each, while Drake, Justin Bieber, One Direction and Maroon 5 have a respectable three nods apiece.

P!nk is currently enjoying success with her sixth studio album 'The Truth About Love'. She recently explained that filming the promo for second single 'Try' was a challenge.
