Favourite Pixie Lott feeling pressure on eve of Strictly Come Dancing

Pixie Lott has admitted that she is feeling the pressure of being named the favourite to win this year's Strictly Come Dancing.

The singer is one of many celebrities due to appear on the BBC shows this year, which kicks off on Sunday (September 7).

Her pop star background has meant that Lott is an early favourite to win - and she told the Daily Mail that the pressure is on.

Lott said: "The pressure’s on because I’m favourite. But I just want to have a good time and go with the flow – that’s the most important thing."

She added: "It’s completely different to going up on stage because I’m used to going up with my band and singing my own songs. I’m so comfortable with that, I don’t get nervous at all – I just enjoy myself and I love it. I did a little show last night and I was in my element."

Lott will be joined on the show by fellow music related stars Frankie Bridge, Scott Mills and Blue's Simon Webbe.
