Pixie Lott is currently recording her next album.

The singer took to Twitter today (June 5) to tell fans that she is in the midst of laying down her fourth record.

The Brit has been recording the effort in studios across the globe ahead of its release next year.

Lott posted: "2016! To play Holly and release my 4th album, which I'm working on right now in LA, Stckhlm and LDN. Tasters soon."

She added a photo of herself in a recording studio laying down some vocals.

The singer referred in her tweet to news that she will play the role of Holly Golightly in a UK and Ireland tour of theatre show Breakfast At Tiffany's.
