UK Bass Music producer Chela Omen first entered the airwaves in May 2024. Debuting alongside Scrufizzer, his single ‘Rio’, saw attention from Wordplay, Earmilk and Music Crowns, lauded by music press for injecting the scene with a fresh sound. This track was shortly followed by the break-filled ‘Dibby Sound’, collaborating with another underground champion in Dread MC.

Rounding out the summer season with one final rhythmic floor-filler, Chela Omen has announced ‘Try It’, bringing the same wobbling bass and enticing vocal chops, this time infused into a soundscape of intensifying Latin percussion. The rolling drums and gut-punching bass stabs hold pure danceability, pulling the listener through atmospheric haze and sweltering raves. Across its runtime, it features a provocative charm and an invigorating euphoria, the production cementing Chela as a talent not to be underestimated.

The artist comments, "'Try It' for me is a fun, feel-good, n sexy track. I wrote this tune with Vanessa Carr at a writing camp in 2023. For this track we wanted it to seduce ravers on the dance floor, pulling them into this playful world before slapping them in the face with a big fat bass wub and some crazy percussive chops"
