Making his debut in 2023 with the shining glamour of pop single ‘FAITH’, followed by equally enthralling tracks ‘Dreams’ and ‘LOVE IS MONEY’, that showcase his expressive songwriting RAPHAEL has unveiled his debut album, 7 AM, featuring hypnotic lead single ‘VITAMIN U’.

The new project bursts with bold and dynamic production, RAPHAEL blurring the lines of genres, marrying tech-driven production, string quartets and grand vocal performances. Standout tracks, ‘Mad World’ and ‘Champagne’, tell the story of a modern man who grapples with optimism and enthusiasm in a modern world.

On the inspiration he says, “I write about relationships, exclusivity, mental health, self - medication and finding spirituality in a material world. By sharing my experiences, I hope my story can be of value to someone in a similar situation.

7 AM is the time most people wake up. My music is about rising to the occasion of life and choosing to make the most of it. Musically, the album is comprised of seven songs that I composed in the key of A Minor, hence the title 7 AM”

Another highlight, the opening track, ‘VITAMIN U’, is built on a hypnotic pop and RnB crossover, that infuses RAPHAEL’s sound with Motown and reggae ideas, embossed in a wave of synth string stabs. The single comes equipped with a state-of-the-art music video in which RAPHAEL treats us to a futuristic spectacle.

“Music videos are an integral part of my artwork. My videos chronicle the journey of an astronaut.
The Astronaut is a beacon of light and hope for diversity and inclusivity. Anyone can be an Astronaut regardless of race, gender, age, and social status.” RAPHAEL describes.

This collection of songs looks to establish RAPHAEL as an authentic singer/songwriter/producer in today’s pop landscape.
