Go Hawaii unleash harmonic new alt-pop single ‘Days Wasted’OFFICIAL PRESS RELEASENEWS PROVIDED BY Plus Music PR Following on from the release of their post-punk-tinged comeback single ‘Auburn’ earlier in the year, Go Hawaii have continued to turn heads with their colourful brand of bedroom pop. Keeping the creative juices flowing, they return with their latest Lo-Fi anthem ‘Days Wasted’ A pummeling backbeat welcomes the single to the airwaves as its ethereal guitar layers provide an almost angelic sentiment to the track. Lacing their sound with a distinctive glow, ‘Days Wasted’ builds upon the group's alt-sound with a pop-tinged nostalgic revisionism. The duo display their ever-growing musical palette with their intrinsic defiance of stereotypical music conventions, bringing an exciting aura to their sound. “When we wrote this song, we wanted to create a dream pop ballad, inspired by some of the records that came out in the early 2010s. We aimed for something very sweet and dreamy, but we also wanted to give it our own personal touch. That’s where the bridge comes in—we decided to disrupt the flow a little bit, shaking things up for the listener. We can’t just stick to a single genre or follow a standard formula; we always need to add our twist. That balance between the dreamy vibe and our unique touch is how the song came to life.” AboutGo Hawaii are an indie duo who hail from the outskirts of Venice, Italy. Since forming in 2016, the group have explored the boundless sonic nature of post-punk, bedroom and dream pop to carve themselves a unique creative forefront. To date, the group have released a string of acclaimed singles that led to the release of their debut album Trespass in 2022. The duo have been bringing their colourful approach to music-making to the live circuit as they continue to turn heads worldwide - gearing up to release their forthcoming EP in 2025.
