Debuting in 2023, Sloane Monroe has quickly established herself with her distinctive indie-pop sound. Incorporating elements of electronica and pop, from her otherwise bluesy musical education, Monroe unveils her latest single ‘Clueless’ for 2025.

Peering its way through the airwaves with a dreamy, alluring intro, Monroe’s quick refrains tease the single's sticky pop nature. Blending emphatic pop melodies with a distinctive alternative undertone, ‘Clueless’ emerges as a defiant slice of contemporary music-making. Once again showcasing Monroe’s marvelling lyrical ability, the track tells the story of a short-lived attempt at a romance, reaching in with an authentic and relatable touch.

“‘Clueless’ came from a quintessential late-night conversation with a friend. I was on the phone, laughing about how I’d met a guy on a night out who was completely oblivious to my interest. “Clueless baby” I said, and suddenly, a little lightbulb went off. The next morning, I revisited a project I had been working on for my friend Rebecca (Le Montais), isolating a sample and building the chorus. A few writing sessions later, ‘Clueless’ was born.”
