A busy 2024 has seen Good Time Locomotive quickly cement themselves as one of the most exciting bands on the UK underground scene. With groovy highs and hard-hitting lows, the group's creative versatility has proven them to be an alluring creative force, turning the heads of listeners up and down the country. Making a defiant return for 2025, the outfit show no signs of slowing down with their latest EP ‘Good Time Locomotive’

Featuring previously released singles ‘GTL’ and ‘Stay Close’, the six-track EP highlights the vast musical palette that the outfit brings to the fore. The group hone in on their signature contemporary flare, fuelled by a driven nostalgic spirit to give them their unique, soulful groove. Complete with disco melodies, funked-up guitar chops and an irresistible pop-esque spirit, the London-based rock group bring the fun, the energy and the feeling to their hard-hitting first release of the year. Looking set to make waves with their indie anthems and retrospective ballads, they look to further turn heads on to their riotous creative mission.

Speaking about the project, James, the band's drummer and co-songwriter, dives in, “This self-titled EP, like the name of the band, really sums up why we started this project. Music is one of the most powerful emotional experiences a human being can have, so for us we have always strived to write songs that make you feel that emotion in the most visceral way possible! The songs on this EP cover everything from the love of the party to overcoming grief, regret, lost love, to the need for human unity. So we cover most bases I think!”
