Following on from the release of ‘All Good Things’ earlier in the year, Frizzy P & Mr Cole are back with their latest teaser single ‘THE BIGGER MAN SANK’ as they look forward to the release of their forthcoming EP, ‘Ladi Dadi III’.

Bringing the old-school back to the limelight via a psychedelic, synthesised aura, ‘THE BIGGER MAN SANK’ kicks into action with its alluring flow and relentless percussion. Leaning into a rich melodic aura, the single comes with a defiant character that emboldens the duo’s artistry. Whilst seamlessly weaving a warm, analogue feel into an emphatic contemporary sound, the single sets up Frizzy P & Mr Cole as exciting forerunners for 2025.

Commenting on the single, the band dives in, "With this track, we wanted to capture a sensation that’s both fluid and deep. ‘THE BIGGER MAN SANK’ speaks of a world where those in power eventually fall, but where the forgotten voices keep singing. There’s a tension between strength and collapse, between hope and inevitability.”

They add, “We touch on social pressures, the way the system pushes some people to the sidelines, how injustices keep repeating—yet despite it all, "there are still voices rising." The song also speaks about the role of women in this struggle, with the idea that even when everything seems lost, resistance remains—through speech, through song. At the time I wrote the lyrics, I was watching the Brett Kavanaugh trial in full on Court TV, and it made me sick. I had deep admiration for Christine Blasey Ford. It’s a topic that didn’t stay in the public’s mind for long, but it hit me hard.”
