Latin American brother band, The Labra Brothers, are establishing a distinct sound for themselves with their upcoming EP Be Cool. After several releases experimenting with unique blends of their favorite genres while accentuating their versatile musicianship, the band successfully crafted a sound that could only be known as The Labra Brothers. Be Cool is the epitome of The Labra Brothers’ sound and is a mix of Latin rhythms, funk-inspired grooves, and soulful vocals. The EP establishes the tone for future releases as The Labra Brothers continue to perfect their sound.

A three-song project, Be Cool is an uplifting and danceable EP that embodies kindness and compassion. The title track and single “Be Cool” was released on February 25, 2023, and is all about being kind to those around you. The Labra Brothers seek to continue to spread the positive message with the rest of their EP. They hope to encourage listeners to persevere with patience and kindness through the highs and lows of life. Accompanying the release of their single “Be Cool” was a music video filmed in San Luis Potosí, Mexico, which gives their listeners the opportunity to visually experience their music.

The Labra Brothers are a Latin Funk sibling band from Rustbelt, Northeast Ohio. Influenced by the diverse music taste of their parents, the brothers developed a distinguished sound that combines blues, funk, and Latin. After falling in love with playing their own renditions of their favorite music, the band decided to put their talents to work within their original creations. Consisting of Adrian Labra on vocals and guitar, Cristian Labra on vocals and bass, David Labra on vocals, guitar, and sax, Antonio Labra on percussion, Danny Svenson on keys, and Matt Hayes on drums, the band quickly discovered their ability to effortlessly interlock in an instrumental groove with each other. The Labra Brothers continue to release music and have established themselves regionally as a dynamic and diverse powerhouse of musical presentation. With three-part sibling vocal harmonies at the forefront, their versatility has become more evident with each new original studio recording they release. The Brothers had an eventful 2022, during which they played a direct support role for Average White Band, and were voted "Best Latin Artist" by the Cleveland Music Awards. Stay tuned for upcoming releases and live shows from The Labra Brothers in early 2023!
