Jermaine Jackson performs Las Vegas MJ tribute

Hot on the heels of filing to have his monthly child support reduced, Jermaine Jackson appeared in Las Vegas at the weekend, to star in a one-man Michael Jackson tribute concert.

The event at Planet Hollywood drew all three of Michael’s children, Prince, Paris and Blanket, but, by all accounts, fewer actual pundits.

Reports were rife of tickets being given away free for the event, which could have seated 7,000.

It’s been speculated that Jackson could be planning to release the event on DVD or CD but in fact he wouldn’t be allowed to. He’s permitted to sing the songs live but any sort of commercial release of the event would entail Michael’s estate having to give permission. It’s uncertain whether Jermaine has yet travelled down that road.
