T.I. due in court but doing other good works
Rapper and actor T.I. (he stars in and produced ‘Takers’) is set to appear in court on October 15 to plead that his probation not be revoked.
T.I. and his wife Tiny were arrested in L.A. on September 1 for possession of a controlled substance. It later turned out the substance was Ecstasy - though last month E! Online obtained documents suggesting codeine and marijuana were also in the newly-wed couple’s possession.
It’s not the first time T.I. has been in trouble with the law. He spent 10 months in prison following a 2007 arrest for trying to illegally purchase a firearm.
During the weekend he hosted a lunch for he and Tiny’s “For The Love of Our Fathers” Alzheimer’s Foundation. Tiny’s father has Alzheimer’s and T.I’s late father and grandmother both battled with the disease.
